Help us welcome our new Men's Golf Coach, Mike Bauser! Learn a little more about him...
Name: Mike Bauser
What are you most excited about as you begin coaching at Greenon? Helping the kids develop through the power of sport and teaching them how golf can build character on and off the golf course.
If you could play a round with any golfer, who would it be? Tiger Woods, just to watch it but at the end of the day I will always pick my dad.
What are you looking forward to in the 25-26 golf season? I know the team may young and we might have some beginners and that’s great! Sometimes that’s a really good thing. I know golf and one shot can make you want to play forever. I look forward to motivating and inspiring them to continue loving the game.
What message would you like to share with current and future Greenon golfers and our community? Greenon is a great school with great educators. Although the Greenon community is small, I believe it to be mighty. I look forward to representing the program and bringing Greenon values to life. Go Knights!
Greenon High School is proud to welcome Mike as the next head coach of the men's golf program, pending approval at the June 29, 2026, Board of Education meeting.

What are you most excited about as you begin coaching at Greenon?
I’m most excited about building relationships with the players and becoming part of their growth both on and off the course. Golf is such a unique sport that teaches confidence, discipline, and perseverance, and I’m looking forward to helping our student-athletes develop those qualities while representing Greenon.
If you could play a round with any golfer, who would it be?
Bryson DeChambeau.
What are you looking forward to in the 2025-26 golf season?
I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know the girls while creating a positive and competitive team environment. I’m also excited to begin growing the program and introducing more young women to the game of golf, helping build a strong foundation for the future.
What message would you like to share with current and future Greenon golfers and our community?
I took on this role because Greenon is home. I live and work in this community, and both of my children played sports and graduated from Greenon. I love this community and believe that when you have the opportunity to give back, you should. I’m excited to support our student-athletes, help grow the golf program, and continue the tradition of pride and excellence that makes Greenon special.

Last week, students from Wright State University, from our Board member Dr. Hundley’s classes, visited Greenon Elementary!
They visited both our 6th grade and Kindergarten #GreenonKnights! They taught lessons on fossils and seasons. Some classes explored fossils by learning about paleontologists, coloring fossils, and participating in a hands-on Play-Doh dig activity, while other classes focused on the four seasons through a sensory bin, a game, and creating a season wheel to discuss months, clothing, and holidays for each season.
Thank you to these Wright State students, our students look forward to their visit each year!

Thank you to the administrative professionals who keep our buildings running smoothly! The #GreenonKnights students, staff, and community are thankful for ALL that you do!

Help us congratulate our #GreenonKnights Ruby Clark! Ruby qualified for the High School Outdoor National Championships in the 2000m steeplechase, set for this summer at the University of Oregon!

Our #GreenonKnights seniors attended the Clark County, Ohio Means Jobs Job Fair at the Hollenbeck Bayley Center yesterday!

Yesterday was our annual Tractor Drive in Day!
Students from our Greenon FFA drove tractors from our Athletic Complex to the K-12 campus to both celebrate and inform our #GreenonKnights community!
Celebrate the rich heritage of agriculture in our area and inform students about this equipment to prevent accidents.
We are approaching the spring planting season, where many of us will share the road with farm equipment. We all want to get where we are going safely!

The #GreenonKnights Marching Band spent spring break in Orlando Florida. They marched in the Universal Studios and Magic Kingdom parades. Park guests from all over the world lined the streets to hear them play. They also got to enjoy rides, shows, and more at Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Epic Universe. Great job, Knights!

Our 3rd graders wrapped up finishing Because of Winn-Dixie in the best way!
Our #GreenonKnights students reflected on lessons learned by creating their own “Mistake Trees,” inspired by the story’s message about learning and growing. They also enjoyed a party just like the characters, with all the same foods, and even watched the movie adaptation together!

Avery Thorpe was selected to represent the #GreenonKnights at the Exchange Club Youth of the Year Awards!
She competed against representatives from all Clark County schools and was chosen as 2nd runner up. She was recognized at their banquet and received a $500 scholarship.

Before spring break, we crowned our Greenon’s Got Talent champion… SNOOG! 🎤🏆
We are so proud of all of our #GreenonKnights performers for putting on an awesome show for our school community!
