Kindergarten Enrollment Requirements
To enroll, you will need:

• Birth Certificate

• Parent ID

• Proof of Residence

• Vaccination Records

• Most Recent Court Documents (if applicable)

• IEP/504 (if applicable)
  

Kindergarten Enrollment

Kindergarten enrollment opens on April 1, 2026. To enroll in Kindergarten, students must be five years old by the first day of the school year and be district residents. Your first step is to create an account in FinalForms and complete the forms.

Kindergarten Non-District Residents/Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment will open on April 1, 2026. If you are not a district resident and are interested in applying for open enrollment, please complete the Open Enrollment Application and send it to the Board Office (120 S. Xenia Drive, Enon, Ohio 45323), Attn: Heather Dillon. If you are a current open-enrolled student, update your FinalForms accordingly.

Kindergarten Screening

Once Final Forms & all documents are received, you will receive an email with a link to sign up for a selected screening time.

Kindergarten Screening Dates: August 20, 2026, and August 21, 2026. Times will be selected when registering for a screening session.

Kindergarten Open House

Kindergarten Open House will be on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There will be tables for families to visit to discuss school fees, lunch options, dismissal, latchkey, and more!

Students with last names A- M will attend from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm

Students with last names N- Z will attend from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm

1st Day of School for Kindergarten Students

Students with last names A- M will attend their first day of school on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. And will NOT attend on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Students with last names N- Z will attend their first day of school on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

ALL Kindergarten students will attend together on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
