Greenon Transportation Invites Community Members to Join Bus Demonstration    Each year, our Transportation Department holds in-service training for bus drivers and transportation staff to prepare to offer safe, reliable transportation for our students to and from school. The Transportation Department invites families and community members to join them for this year’s demonstration to see their training in action.
This year’s training will take place on August 31, 2021, and will include a tipped bus and a mock bus with electrical lines to show the dangers and discuss proper procedures in this situation. The transportation staff invites a limited number of community members to tours of the exercise. There are two tour times available:

8:30 to 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, at the Greenon Athletic Complex, 3950 S. Tecumseh Road, Springfield.

10:15 to 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, at the Greenon Athletic Complex, 3950 S. Tecumseh Road, Springfield.

Pre-sign up for each session is recommended to ensure there is space. To sign up, please click here to complete the form on our website. If you are interested in more information or would like to sign up, please email Bus Driver Cindy Sandlin at csandlin@greenonschools.org or call the Greenon Transportation Department at (937) 340-6352.
