Enon Staff Donation Earns Dollars for Literacy Program

Teachers at Enon Primary School recently donated a basket to an auction to raise money to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program to Clark County. Their basket raised the most of any Clark County school's donation, raising $350 for the program and earning $100 for Enon Primary to use in the school library!

When a child signs up for the Imagination Library program, they will receive a book every month from birth (or the time of signing up) through 5 years old. Enon's basket raised enough money to fund the program for three kids for the duration of 60 months.

"The staff at Enon is dedicated to helping every child in our school read and learn, and I am proud to see that dedication extend beyond our own students to others in this community," said Mr. Knapke. "The Imagination Library is a wonderful addition to community's literacy resources, and we are honored to be part of bringing that program to the children of Clark County."
